The Life and Liberty Defense Fund was created to provide legal assistance for those fighting for life in the midst of dire circumstances. Whether it is a little baby born before they are due or a cancer patient given no chance to live, we affirm that all life is precious and worth sustaining, whatever the difficulties involved. And thanks to the generous donations of so many of you, God has enabled us to be “a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress” (Isaiah 25:4).

There are two defining medical ethics questions confronting the Christian community in the Twenty-First Century. The first is this: Should Christians view all life, regardless of size, age, viability, or “quality of life” as sacred and worthy of protection? The second is this: Who should be the primary caretaker for the people of God — the people of God themselves, or the state?
At Vision Forum, we not only love life, but we rejoice in the fact that our God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills is more than capable of working through His people to stand with faithful believers committed to the sanctity of life.
With gratitude to the Lord for His faithful provision to those who cry out to Him, we are pleased to announce the Life and Liberty Defense Fund (formerly the Baby Goforth Fund). This legal defense fund is an extension of three points addressed in our mission statement:
- Reviving the Doctrine of “Women and Children First”
- Embracing the Blessing of Children and the Sanctity of Human Life
- Addressing the Ethical Issues of the Twenty-First Century
