The Faith of
Our Fathers Project

The Faith of Our Fathers Project is a ten-year effort launched by Vision Forum Ministries in 2001 to tell the stories of the providence of God in the life of the veterans of the Second World War. A key project milestone was the 2005 documentary, The League of Grateful Sons, which tells the stories of fathers and sons who went back to Iwo Jima for the sixtieth anniversary of the bloody battle. Donate Online The Faith of Our Fathers Project will culminate this year with Normandy: A Final Farewell, which will be held June 4-6 on the D-Day Beaches in Northern France.

“I was moved to tears at the sacrifice of so many brave men and...inspired to learn the stories of my grandfathers and preserve their legacy for my children.”

How You Can Help
To make Normandy: A Final Farewell a success, we need your help. Your tax-deductible donations will allow us to assist some veterans to return to Normandy, pay for staffing expenses, procure Gospel films and literature to be distributed as gifts to the veterans, cover the costs of the Gospel outreach and celebration events to be conducted, and assist in film projects we will be producing so that thousands of families back in the United States who are not able to come to Normandy can benefit from the experience. The Vision
This June 4-6, we will conclude the Faith of Our Fathers Project with a Final Farewell from the beaches of Normandy. We will be there to give the veterans who fought in Normandy a last goodbye — a great celebration designed to honor the soldiers of the Second World War, to link the generations of the present with the men of the past, to celebrate the providence of God through these men in securing freedom, and to share a Gospel message of hope to the veterans and their families. Join us in person or online this June as we stand with World War II’s last living heroes. Read More
