About the Event

Join us for the Church Planter’s Symposium

The Church Planter’s Symposium, to be held on June 1-2, 2007 in Wake Forest, North Carolina, is designed to help men think through the critical considerations necessary for church planting. During this two-day symposium, we will identify the elements of biblical church life, discuss the issues and challenges and pitfalls that men face when planting churches, and discuss the things necessary to determine if or when one should plant a church.

We have structured this conference to allow time for personal ministry and coaching by allocating time for discussion in each of the sessions.

We have intended that this conference be helpful to assist those who are considering planting a church or who are in the midst of doing so. We trust that our format will be a helpful in your efforts for the praise of the glory of His grace.

Church Planting: A Profitable Work

Planting a church is one of the most exciting and profitable things a Christian can be involved with. When Christ-honoring churches are planted, love grows, and relationships are forged, as new leaders come to the surface and new believers are birthed. People are built up spiritually through the biblical sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s table. The community of saints is encouraged as those within the congregation support one another at the time of new marriages and the passing of old loved ones.

Church planting is participating with God in the equipping and sanctification of the saints and the preparation of the Bride of Christ for presentation to Him on that glorious day.
