Stephen McDowell

Stephen McDowellStephen McDowell is co-founder and President of the Providence Foundation, a nonprofit Christian educational organization whose mission is to spread liberty, justice, and prosperity among the nations by educating individuals in a Biblical worldview. He was ordained for the ministry in 1978 and worked in the pastorate until 1984 when he assisted in establishing the Providence Foundation, where since he has served as President. McDowell is the editor of the Providential Perspective and has authored or co-authored a dozen books, videos, and training courses, including America’s Providential History, In Search of Democracy, Liberating the Nations, In God We Trust Tour Guide, The Story of America’s Liberty, and Building Godly Nations. His books and writings have been translated into French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Bulgarian, Czech, and Chinese, and distributed to hundreds of thousands of people. McDowell has been an Adjunct Professor at Regent University and serves on the boards of numerous organizations and ministries. An internationally known speaker, McDowell has written scores of articles for various publications, appeared on numerous TV and radio programs. He also periodically does historic portrayals of Thomas Jefferson. He and his wife Beth live in Charlottesville, Virginia, and have four children.

Col. John Eidsmoe

Col. John EidsmoeJohn Eidsmoe is a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel and Judge Advocate and an Alabama State Defense Force Colonel and Chaplain. He is Professor of Law at the Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy and Professor of Constitutional Law Emeritus at the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama, where his students have twice given him the Outstanding Professor Award, and serves as Senior Staff Attorney at the Alabama Supreme Court. As a constitutional attorney, Colonel Eidsmoe has defended home schools and Christian schools, debated ACLU attorneys on radio and television, and served on the Ten Commandments Legal Defense Team in the recent Alabama litigation. He has authored thirteen books, including Christianity and the Constitution and produced numerous audio and video lecture series, and holds five academic degrees in law, theology, and political science, as well as graduating from the Air Command and Staff College and the Air War College.

Dan Ford

Dan FordDan Ford has been an avid collector of artifacts and historic documents for nearly two decades. As a researcher and historian, he has compiled an archive of original source materials by which to verify contemporary accounts of the lives of our forebearers. These artifacts range from more ancient cuneiform tablets, scrolls, and pottery, to less ancient pamphlets, maps, broadsheets, books, private letters, and public documents. He has been a group teacher and conference speaker on the subjects of Christian English and American history for the past ten years. His single goal in each presentation has been to explain and document, by way of facts and artifacts, the abundant evidence of our godly cultural inheritance. With twenty-five years in the field of graphic illustration, he is well-known for his illustrated work, In the Name of God, Amen. Dan and his wife Theresa reside in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Paul Jehle

Dr. Paul JehleDr. Jehle is senior pastor of the New Testament Church of Cedarville, president and founder of Heritage Institute Ministries, principal and founder of the New Testament Christian School, as well as serving as Plymouth Rock Foundation’s education director since 1988. Dr. Jehle has earned master’s and doctorate degrees in Education. Dr. Jehle has traveled nationally and internationally to bring biblical worldview training to Christians in the areas of education, history, political statesmanship, and church ministry.

Dr. Joseph Morecraft III

Dr. Joseph Morecraft IIIDr. Morecraft is an ordained minister (RPCUS) and has pastored Chalcedon Presbyterian Church of Dunwoody, GA, since 1974. Dr. Morecraft received a B.A. in History from King College in Bristol, TN, an M.Div. from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA, and a Th.D. from Whitefield Theological Seminary in Lakeland, FL. Dr. Morecraft has lectured in such places as South Africa, England, Scotland, El Salvador, and Cypress. He has authored numerous articles and two books: Liberation Theology: Prelude to Revolution, and With Liberty and Justice for All. In 1986, Dr. Morecraft was a candidate for U.S. Congress in the 7th Congressional District of Georgia. He currently serves as chairman of the Constitution Party of Georgia. Dr. Morecraft is married to his wife Becky and they have four children.

Douglas W. Phillips

Douglas W. PhillipsDoug Phillips is the director of Vision Forum Ministries, a discipleship and training ministry that emphasizes Christian apologetics, worldview training, multi-generational faithfulness, and creative solutions whereby fathers can play a maximum role in family discipleship. A constitutional attorney, Doug served with the Home School Legal Defense Association for six years. He serves as Adjunct Professor of Apologetics for the Institute for Creation Research, and co-authored the book, Weapons of Our Warfare with ICR’s president Dr. John Morris. He is the author/editor of Robert Louis Dabney: The Prophet Speaks; Poems for Patriarchs; The Birkenhead Drill; The Letters & Lessons of Teddy Roosevelt for His Sons. His writings have appeared in numerous publications including WORLD, Acts and Facts, The Houston Chronicle, Education Reporter, Quit You Like Men, The Home School Court Report, Home Schooling Today, and Citizen Magazine. Doug and his wife, Beall, live with their eight children, Joshua, Justice, Liberty, Jubilee, Faith Evangeline, Honor, Providence and new arrival Virginia, in San Antonio, Texas.

Bill is also the home-schooling father of eight children. He and his wife Leslie live in historic Williamsburg, Virginia.

Geoffrey Botkin

Geoffrey BotkinVeteran producer and IT pioneer Geoffrey Botkin is director of First Pacific Ltd. in New Zealand. He has written and directed some of the most controversial and widely watched public affairs films of the last twenty years, reaching viewers across the U.S., Russia, Europe, and Australasia. He has produced or executive-produced more than one-hundred documentary films, television productions, and other media projects. In addition to time spent as CEO of an experimental international print/broadcast/Internet media conglomerate, Mr. Botkin has invested many years into the training of young media professionals, primarily at Deerwood Studios in the U.S. and the Family Television Network of New Zealand. Mr. Botkin has lectured on philosophy and history at Hillsdale College, on politics at the Heritage Foundation, and on theology at worldview conferences in the U.S. and New Zealand. He currently lives on New Zealand’s Seven Arrows Ranch with his wife and seven children, where he is completing pre-production research on two feature films.

Ron Maxwell

Ron MaxwellRonald F. Maxwell is a graduate of New York University College of Arts and Sciences where he was a member of the Hall of Fame Players and the Green Room Honor Society. His work in NYU’s theater program earned him an invitation and scholarship to attend the New York University Graduate School of the Arts, Institute of Film and Television. Ron has directed numerous films with such accomplishments as the Land of the Poets — a feature-length documentary on the Nicaraguan civil war — and the two landmark Civil War films, Gettysburg and Gods and Generals, which have both been hailed as two of the greatest war movies in the history of film. Gettysburg was released theatrically in the fall of 1993. In the summer of 1994, it was broadcast over two nights on TNT where it established the all-time highest rating for a dramatic film on cable television. The video and DVD have sold millions of copies. Since then, Ron has produced, written, and directed the film Gods and Generals, the prequel to Gettysburg. It was released in February 2003 and the DVD/VHS was released on July 15, 2003 as the number-one selling video in America, with over 600,000 sales. Ron is currently in long-range preparation for the film Last Full Measure, the final part of the Civil War trilogy.

Dr. Peter Lillback

Dr. Peter LillbackIn addition to leading The Providence Forum, Dr. Lillback is President of Westminster Theological Seminary, where he serves as Professor of Historical Theology, and is also Senior Pastor at Proclamation Presbyterian Church in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He is the voice of Proclaiming The Word, a daily syndicated radio program, as well as The Proclamation Worship Hour. Dr. Lillback received a Ph.D. from Westminster Theological Seminary, a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a B.A. from Cedarville University in Ohio.
