About the Event

Twelfth Annual Titanic Dinner to Remember the Doctrine of “Women and Children First”

Couple

Once upon a time, not so long ago,
Boys held the door for girls,
Husbands spoke with tenderness of their wives,
Men gave up their seats for women,
And sacrifice was the defining quality of bold manhood.

Men

Today, many have forgotten this culture of Christendom.
But because of one remarkable evening in 1912,
The entire world can be reminded
That nobility transcends avarice,
That there can be mercy even in the midst of judgment
And that “Greater love hath no man than this,
That a man lay down his life for his friends.”

If you are a father or a son who still believes in the historic principles of bold manhood, we cordially invite you to join us at the famous Phillips Flagship Restaurant of Washington, D.C. at 6:30 p.m. on April 14, 2008, for the:

Twelfth Annual Christian Boys’ & Men’s Titanic Memorial Celebration,
Sponsored by Doug Phillips and Vision Forum Ministries,
Dedicated to the perpetuation of Christian chivalry,
KidsTo the next generation of courageous sons and virtuous daughters,
And to the men of the Titanic who lived by the adage,
“Women and children first.”

Join us ninety-six years to the day when the great ship struck a berg,
For stirring songs of bravery,
Of devotion to God,
Of our great heroic past,
And of men who went down to the sea in ships.
